The SoS Mass Mulleting Fundraiser

Ape Drape against Air Travel. Hockey Hair for a Healthy Planet. Call it what you want: the exciting state of affairs is that this year there is a Mullets for Freedom Fundraiser for SoS 2007!

What are we on about? It's simple. Just like the sponsored shaved head for cancer, except with mullets.

The Students of Sustainability Conference is on Noongar country (aka Perth) from July 9-15th, and we're gonna make the massive trek across the Nullarbor Plain. We're determined to travel sustainably, so some financial assistance for train tickets is needed.

Mullification will take place on the streets of Sydney's Central Bullshit District during the week starting May 14. The mullets will be worn with pride and skill by Mullitia for as long as they dare, or a minimum two weeks. All Mullitia that wear their mullet to SoS receive a free t-shirt, mate.

Three mulleting events are already happening in Sydney. To make it a National Day of Mulletactics and Action, get your crew involved.

WOLLONGONG ENVIRO COLLECTIVE INVITES YOU TO A RAGING SOS FUNDRAISER PARTAY!!

WHEN: 4th May 8pm-ish-whenever

WHERE: 5/11 Exeter Ave North Wollongong
(Catch the train on the South Line, Get off at North Wollongong Station, 1 min walk to our house!) It's not that far from Smogney, definitely worth the journey

WHO: all the coolest enviro peeps plus any others sympathetic to our great cause :)

WHAT: Cheap, great tasting HOME BREW($2 beer), Yummy Food, GAMES and Wollongong's Finest DJs

WHY? Cos we need heaps of money to get as many of us over to Perth for SOS fun. And who needs an excuse for a party?!?!

All money raised will be pooled collectively to help with costs of getting as many people from as many enviro collectives to SOS
