As part of the Venue Liaison Working Group, waste management has been flagged as an important issue to be dealt with as soon as possible. This includes glorious things like toilets, urinals and showers when dealing with that "organic" waste as well as where we will send our food scraps, plastics, paper and so on during the event. We will be going down all available sustainable and environmentally friendly routes possible when we consider which products/services we will be using.

Recycling, waste reduction, minimal energy consumption and bio-degradable chemicals have been noted as extremely important issues to consider when we decide what to do.
