Cut a fullsick mullet for SOS mate!

Ape Drape against Air Travel. Hockey Hair for a Healthy Planet. Call it what you want, the exciting state of affairs is that this year there is going to be a Mullets for Freedom Fundraiser for SOS 2007! What are we on about?? It’s simple. Just like the sponsored shaved head for cancer, except with mullets. It’s tried and true, it’s been done before.

It’s a long way to Perth for the conference, so some financial assistance for train tickets is needed. Just send us your photo and download the sponsorship form. We’ll put you up on the mulleteers page and you’ll be ready to get yourself a stylish subsidy. Half of it goes towards your non-airplane travel cost and the other half goes to the travel costs of your buddies. Everything you need is on the downloads page.

Brave students are already gathering sponsors to cut mullets and the money is going to getting them and their even braver friends across the Nullabor to the Students of Sustainability 2007 Conference. Mullification will take place on the streets of Sydney’s Central Bullshit District during the week starting May 14 (UNSW Week 11). The mullets will be worn with pride and skill by the mullitia for as long as they dare, minimum two weeks. All mulleteers that wear their mullet to SOS receive a free t-shirt.
