A night of wild experimentally-tweaked and/or improvisational artists (including a 16 part drum collaboration) collect together for the cause of INJURED NINJA to raise funds for their upcoming Japan tour at THE BAKERY, NORTHBRIDGE on Saturday the 10th of January.

The recent recipients of a DCA touring grant, Injured Ninja will be traveling to Japan this February touring in support of their debut EP release Circuitboard. The Ninjas will perform 10 shows in under two weeks touring with Japanese experimental act Psychedelic Desert.

In their effort to raise the funding required Ninja will be performing a concentrated selection of their songs as THE EPIC OF GILGAMESH: A massive collectively orchestrated drum circle (featuring percussion and additional instruments from members of Perth acts Mile End, French Rockets, Pacific by Rail and many more).

Also appearing to assault and arouse ears on the night will be the mind-frying hypnotic jams of THESE SHIP WRECKS, the pulverizing bass frequency attack of ABE SADA, the deep stoner jam grooves of the brilliant BROWN, the groovy and grinding conscious rock of BLAC BLOCS and THE MANY GUISES – a infamously manic folk jam collective.
