WALK AGAINST WARMING 2007 from Perth Indymedia
Lets make the Walk Against Warming 2007 (WAW) a huge success to force our politicians to take real action on dangerous climate change. Lets make sure they know we want real action - we need a law to cut greenhouse pollution by 30% by 2020, and to do this we need to ensure that all new energy production is from renewable energy not mythical coal!
In 2006 about 5,000 people hit the streets of Perth to join the Walk Against Warming.
The March is on Sunday 11 November at 1:00pm starting at the The Esplanade Park, Fremantle (next to Marine Terrace).
